Tuesdays 3:00-6:00
p.m.
June 19th through October
Benedictine Park, off Route 101
on Wallace Road, Bedford, NH
We're all eagerly
looking forward to a summer of sunny days and fresh produce. Our
vendors have been updating their information in preparation
for opening day.
Join us each Tuesday
starting June 19th as we enjoy an abundance of seasonal locally grown
or made fruits, vegetables, cheeses, wine, berries, flowers, plants,
herbs, soaps, fish, baked goods, breads, coffee, and much more!
We have about 25
different local farmers and vendors set up in a relaxed country open-air
site right in the heart of Bedford. This year, we will be at the Benedictine
Park complex all season long.
Throughout the
summer we will feature live entertainment and children's activities,
with a special July 6th Independence Day celebration, and an end-of-season
"Trick-or-Treat" at the market. Each week, the Market also
donates a "Morgan's Basket" of
market goods to a resident of Bedford who is going through difficult
times and is in need of good cheer.
You never know
what else might happen at the Bedford Farmers' Market. Organizers try
to make it a "happening". So come down any and every Tuesday
for an afternoon of delights: experience the colors, the sounds, the
scents, and the tastes (lots of samples) of the Bedford Farmers' Market!!!
As always, many
of the farmers will continue to accept Farmers' Market Nutrition Program
(WIC) coupons, and offer recipes, cooking demonstrations,
entertainment, live animals, crafts and other special events.
In
the meantime...
Finally, if you
can't wait until summer to keep up with farmers' markets, check out
last year's news archive and recipes
for some suggestions!
